PIR sensors are utilized to spot motion from pets/humanoids from about 20 feet away (perhaps works on zombies, not ensured). This one has an adjustable delay prior to shooting (approx 2-4 seconds), adjustable sensitivity and we consist of a 1 foot (30 cm) cable with a socket so you can quickly rearrange the sensor or install it using the two drills on either side
Operates on 5V-16V power (if you require to run it off of 3V you can do that by bypassing the regulator, but that means doing a bit of soldering). Digital signal output is 3.3 V high/low. Noticing variety is about 7 meters (120 degree cone).
There are lots of guide offered on Adafruit’s website for these sensors!
- Find movement up to 7 meters away
- Perfect for Raspberry Pi or Arduino Projects
- Easy to utilize
- Requires soldering of header pins
